The base of many open source cloud solutions, such as OpenStack, Ceph and Kubernetes, is Linux. Managing these systems requires a solid level of Linux knowledge. Therefore, we are looking for Linux Engineers who can keep track of, and maintain the Linux-based systems of these cloud platforms.
Tasks you will be working on:
Resolving second- and third-line incidents within the Linux operating system domain
Execution of emergency assistance for our customers on Linux
Execution of lifecycle management
Supporting the first- and second-line support team in solving incidents
Extending physical nodes and installing cloud solutions (OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes)
Participating in the improvement plans to refine our service provision
Communicating with the customer regarding the progress and resolution of the incidents and assessing and motivating a root cause analysis (RCA)

What does it take?
- You have at least two years' experience with Linux
- You have at least two years' experience with Shell Scripting
- It is an advantage if you have a Linux certification (RHCSA, LPIC)
- You have at least two years' experience with troubleshooting Linux based systems
- You are fluent in English
