Description

Architecture

We support the university with upgrades both for the open infrastructure components as for the underlying hardware layer.

OpenStack

We built the OpenStack cloud environment to the specific requirements as needed by the university.

Containers

At a later stage Fairbanks supported the University with adding containerization on the cloud platform.

Back-up

Additionally, we added a backup platform for the big data services on the cloud environment of the University of Luxembourg.

Managed services

Fairbanks manages the open infrastructure cloud so that the university can focus on their specialties and ELIXER.

Support

If anything happens or in case of an emergency, Fairbanks is there, to support the university in handling the matter.
